Why running our own store matters for yours
Selling physical things online is harder than it looks. Shipping rules, pickup versus delivery, inventory that runs out, seasonal availability – you can’t ship a duckling the way you ship a t-shirt. We ran into every one of those problems on our own store first. So when we build a Commerce site for a client, we’re not figuring it out on your dime. We’ve already made the mistakes on ours.
What we learned
The lesson: a store lives or dies on the boring parts. Clear availability, honest shipping, and a checkout that takes ten seconds. A gorgeous product page bolted to a confusing checkout sells nothing. So we design the checkout first now, then make the rest pretty – not the other way around.
